Ramki has over 25 years of aviation and financing experience. Over the past 8 years, Ramki oversaw in excess of US$7.0 billion of aviation financing as the Global Head of Aviation for Natixis and Head of Aviation for Investec, where he has established various aviation funds and platforms. Prior to this, Ramki was the CEO of India's first low-cost carrier (Air Deccan), where he oversaw its growth and subsequent sale to Kingfisher Airlines.

Cian Dooley
Executive Director and Partner

Cian has over 29 years experience with aircraft manufacturers, leasing companies and banks, including roles as a Managing Director of Boeing Capital and Chief Commercial Officer of Genesis Lease (NYSE-listed, subsequently merged into the world’s 2nd largest aircraft lessor, AerCap). Since 2010, Cian has worked with a broad range of banks, leasing companies, and airlines as a consultant for deal origination and structuring, most recently as part of the Natixis aviation team.

Anand Ramachandran
Chief Financial Officer and Partner

Anand has over 23 years of aviation and financing experience. Having initially worked with both Air Deccan, India’s first low-cost carrier and Jet Airways in the finance, investor relations, and fleet management departments, Anand then moved to Investec, originating and structuring debt financing transactions. Anand most recently helped to set up and grow Goshawk Aviation Limited (a US$5.0 billion aircraft lessor at the time of his departure) where he held the role of Chief Financial Officer.

 

Jocelyn Noel

Jocelyn has 14 years of experience in the aircraft financing sector, most recently working as an Executive Director and the Global Head of Aviation Distributions with Natixis Corporate and Investment Banking. Over the past decade, Jocelyn has been stationed across New York, Hong Kong, and London in transaction sourcing, origination, and distribution roles.

John O'Flynn
Partner

John has over 11 years aviation experience working with both airlines and leasing companies. He spent 7 years with Ryanair holding a number of senior management positions such as Treasurer, Head of Aircraft Finance and Head of Investor Relations. John then joined Goshawk Aviation Limited (a US$5.0 billion aircraft lessor at the time of his departure) sourcing capital globally from financial institutions and institutional investors.

Eugene Lui
Partner

Eugene has over 10 years of aviation and financing experience. Having initially worked for Deutsche Bank Investment Banking, Eugene then moved to Investec’s Structured Finance division working with the aviation team. Eugene then helped set up and grow Goshawk Aviation Limited (a US$5.0 billion aircraft lessor at the time of his departure) working across the Commercial and Corporate Finance functions.

 

Hari Raghavan

Hari is an experienced banking professional with over 21 years of aviation and financing experience. Prior to joining Airborne, Hari was a Director within Credit Suisse’s Securitization Finance – Transportation Division, where he led a team that originated, structured and executed on a variety of aircraft, container and railcar securitization / lending transactions; including of over US$5.0 billion of structured aviation financings since 2014.

Yoichi Hirotani
Partner

Yoichi has over 20 years of aviation financing experience from his time at the Development Bank of Japan and DVB Transport Finance. Prior to joining Airborne, Yoichi was the Managing Director and Head of the Tokyo Branch of DVB Transport Finance. In this particular role, Yoichi arranged US$1.0 billion of JOL and JOLCO’s, established an aircraft investment joint venture with Mercuria investments, and arranged in excess of US$0.5 billion of aviation debt.

 

Aliza Chhetri
Risk and Analytics

Aliza has 4 years of experience in the aviation finance and leasing industry. Aliza currently works on the origination pricing team at Airborne Capital, having previously focused on pricing analysis and commercial presentations within the Origination & Marketing function at Deucalion. Before that, Aliza specialized in business intelligence and management accounting as a Finance Analyst at ICBC Standard Bank Plc. Aliza holds a B.Sc. in Financial Mathematics from Brunel University London.

Arjit Tripathi

Arjit is a graduate of IIT Madras, holding both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Prior to joining Airborne Capital, he interned at JSW Paints in India. Arjit began his career with Airborne Capital as an Analyst, contributing to the team's aviation finance and leasing activities.

Bruno Benveniste

Bruno Benveniste has more than 10 years of experience in aviation finance and joins Airborne from Nordic Aviation Capital where he served most recently as Vice President Marketing. Bruno also brings with him previous experience in sales, marketing and transactions management. Prior to Nordic Aviation Capital, Bruno worked at Avation PLC and Airbus (formerly known as EADS) in their respective sales and marketing groups.

Chas is a UK qualified lawyer with more than 23 years of in-house experience gained working closely with management and businesses involved in providing a wide range of banking and financial services. Prior to joining Airborne, Chas has held a series of key positions within Investec Bank plc’s legal function, including covering: Investment Banking and Securities and Structured Products and Distribution.

Colm McInerney
Finance

Colm began his career with Grant Thornton in 2018 working in the corporate audit department. While auditing companies across various industries, he completed his Chartered Accountant (ACA) exams. Thereafter, Colm gained three years experience in the aviation industry, joining PAFS Ireland Ltd, as a Senior Financial Accountant.

Daniel Claffey
Technical

Daniel has over 10 years experience working in the aircraft leasing industry. Prior to joining Airborne, Daniel worked in the Technical Department of Goshawk Aviation Limited and was responsible for the technical management of aircraft through all phases of the lease term. Prior to Goshawk, Daniel worked in ELFC overseeing Technical management of their aircraft engine portfolio. Daniel holds a B. Eng in Aerospace Engineering from Queens University Belfast. 

 

Daren Sinnassamy

Daren is a graduate from University of Bristol, holding a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Econometrics. Daren was a journalist trainee at L’ Express ( La Sentinelle LTD), working on economics-related articles. Prior to joining Airborne, he has also worked at Standard Bank (Mauritius) and London & Country Mortgages.

Donna Marie O’Neill
Operations

Donna Marie started her career in aviation with GECAS over 12 years ago in the finance department. Since then, she has worked across multiple departments including operations, technical, and finance functions in both Aldus Aviation and Nordic Aviation Capital. Immediately prior to joining Airborne, Donna Marie was the senior contracts manager for NAC, managing portfolios for some of NAC biggest clients totaling 59+ aircraft in the EMEA / Americas regions.

Ellen Reidy
Finance

Ellen has 15 years accounting experience with 6 of these gained while working in the aviation industry. She began her career with BDO Simpson Xavier, where she gained invaluable experience across a range of business sectors. Prior to joining Airborne, she was a Senior Finance Manager managing a team of accountants at Nordic Aviation Capital. She has also worked as a Financial Analyst with GE Capital Treasury for over 6 years. With a passion for aviation, Ellen is dedicated to driving business growth in this dynamic industry.

 

Emer Rice
Finance

Emer has 15 years accounting experience with 11 of these gained while working in the aviation industry. She spent the early part of her career working with Ernst & Young, gaining invaluable experience across a range of service and manufacturing businesses, and more recently in a senior finance position within ELFC, where she maintained a large portfolio of aircraft engines (in excess of US$$2 billion). During her tenure she worked across several functions including accounting, tax, operations, and treasury.

Hammad Bin Shahid

Hammad has 4 years of experience working in the aviation and finance space. Hammad worked across the pricing, structuring and credit functions at ABL Aviation, prior to which he was a portfolio strategist and industry analysis for Goshawk Aviation. Hammad holds a M.Sc. from University College Dublin and is an ACCA qualified accountant.

Konrad Blocher
Strategy

Konrad Blocher has over 15 years of experience in aviation finance, strategy, and risk. He currently serves as Strategy and Sustainability Advisor at mba aviation, following his role as Head of Strategy at Goshawk, where he helped grow the platform to over $10bn in assets under management. Konrad brings deep expertise in portfolio strategy, risk modelling, and strategic transactions, including IPO, M&A, and restructuring. He previously held senior roles at SMBC Aviation Capital and RBS Aviation Capital, focusing on risk and portfolio analytics.

 

Martha Ahern

Martha began her career with Deloitte in 2014 working in the consumer & technology business audit department. While auditing companies across various industries, she completed her Chartered Accountant (ACA) exams. Martha gained five years experience in the aviation industry,  joining Eirtech & International Aerospace Coating, as a Financial Accountant. While working for this global leading firm in aircraft maintenance, Martha progressed her career to Group Financial Reporting Manger.

Massimo Mancini
Commercial

Massimo has over 16 years of experience in commercial aviation. He joined Airborne from American Airlines, where he held a variety of finance, fleet, and commercial positions, including roles as Vice President, Commercial Planning & Analysis and Vice President, Network Strategy. At American, Massimo played a central role in large-scale initiatives, unlocking over $1 billion in incremental value through strategic planning, negotiations, and data-driven decision-making around fleet, network, and a variety of commercial areas.

Matthew Yeung
Corporate Finance

Matthew has 4 years of experience working in the aviation and finance sectors. Previously, he worked across the pricing, research, and operations functions at China Aircraft Leasing Group, assisting with securing lease placement opportunities. Prior to this, he was a pricing analyst within the Corporate Planning and Investment department of Orix Aviation, assisting to manage and price portfolios for investors. Matthew holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago.

 

Michael O’Kelly
Technical

Michael has over 35 years of aviation experience across aircraft maintenance and technical asset management. He began his career as an apprentice aircraft engineer with British Airways before joining Shannon Aerospace, later renamed Lufthansa Technik Shannon, where he progressed to senior leadership roles and served as Head of Production, overseeing large-scale maintenance operations and aircraft programmes. Prior to joining Airborne Capital, Michael was a Project Manager within the Aircraft Leasing and Transitions division at Eirtech Aviation Services, delivering complex redelivery and maintenance projects for global lessors.

Michele Frawley
Finance

Michele has over 20 years’ experience in aircraft leasing and financial services. She began her career in KPMG Financial Services Tax department.  After four years with KPMG she spent the next 14 years with TAT Group, gaining extensive knowledge across the aircraft leasing finance and operations functions.  Since then, she has worked with GECAS in the role of Treasury & Intercompany accountant and IQEQ, leading a finance team on a large portfolio of corporate clients while serving as Director on several boards. 

Pierre McNamara
Technical

Pierre has over 25 years of aviation technical experience, collected over his roles across both lessors and airlines. Starting off as an engineer with Aer Lingus and later Air France-KLM, Pierre then moved to act as a technical officer for SMBC Aviation Capital and Genesis Lease (merged with AerCap). Prior to joining Airborne, Pierre was the VP of Aircraft Programs with Nordic Aviation Capital, the world’s largest regional aircraft lessor.

 

Pierre Steffen
Project Management

For 5 years Pierre worked abroad as a power station commissioning engineer before joining AIRBUS where held various management positions over 25 years, including VP Global Spares Support, SVP Marketing in EDAS HQ and SVP Customer Services in China. Thereafter Pierre took the position as CSCO in a major middle eastern MRO. Pierre joined Airborne Capital in 2022 and manages P2F projects and customer acquisitions in the aviation AI business domain recently engaged by Airborne Capital.

Sarah Perfect
Office Manager

Sarah has over 8 years experience working as a Personal Assistant and has worked in the Aviation industry for over 5 years. Sarah has provided personal assistance and office management to Airborne Capital since November 2017.

Stephen Ronan
Risk and Analytics

Stephen has over three years’ experience in the aircraft leasing and finance sector. He began his career in Goshawk’s business analysis graduate program prior to its acquisition by SMBC, before moving to Aergo Capital’s pricing team, where he supported asset acquisitions and management across the portfolio. He holds an MSc in Aviation Finance from UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School and a BSc in Aviation Management from Dublin City University.

 

Uriel Bonilla
Risk and Analytics

Uriel Bonilla has 4 years of experience working in the aviation financing sector. He began his career in aviation at Frontier Airlines as an analyst in the pricing and revenue management department, managing the pricing strategy for various regions. Prior to joining Airborne, Uriel served as a Senior Investment Analyst at Crestone Air Partners where he worked across several teams including underwriting, credit analysis, investor relations, and asset management. Uriel Holds a B.A. In Economics from Colorado State University.

Yvan Bachkine
Portfolio Management

Yvan has more than 12 years’ experience in aviation finance and joins Airborne from BOC Aviation where he served most recently as Vice President, Aircraft Sales. Yvan also brings with him a wealth of experience in treasury, pricing, transaction and risk management. Prior to that, Yvan worked with Natixis Investment Bank as an analyst in the Shipping and Project Finance Group. Yvan’s work experience spans the globe, having been stationed in Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, and London over the past 15 years.

Kazuki Yoshida

Kazuki has over 12 years of experience working in the aviation and leasing sectors. Kazuki began his career in Jackson Square Aviation and its shareholder, Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance, where he held roles across functions such as structured finance, technical, risk management, and capital markets. Immediately before joining Airborne, Kazuki was a project manager primarily focused on developing JOL opportunties / products, and managing JOL investors. Kazuki holds a B.A. in Business and Commerce from the Otaru University of Commerce.

Tomohiro Ishii

Tomohiro Ishii has over 8 years of experience in the aviation industry and joins Daiwa Airborne in a corporate leadership role. Tomohiro brings with him experience across aviation finance, leasing, and corporate management. Prior to Daiwa Airborne, he worked at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and MC Aviation Partners, where he was involved in finance, accounting, and restructuring initiatives, as well as supporting aviation-related projects. 

Masafumi Hayashi

Masa has nearly 20 years of experience in the aircraft and engine leasing business. Before joining Airborne, Masa worked at Sumitomo Corporation and gained experience through secondments at SMBC Aviation Capital (3 years), SMBC Aviation Capital (5 years), and Sumitomo Mitsui Finance & Leasing Co., Ltd. (6 years), with a particular focus on the JOL business. Masa was awarded by Airline Economics as the “Future Leader” among the “40 under 40” class in 2024.

Toshinobu Itagaki
Technical

Toshinobu has over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, beginning his career at Japan Air System (now Japan Airlines). He has held technical roles within the engineering section, specializing in avionics engineering, modification, and project management. He also participated in the preparation for the A350 and the A321P2F project of Yamato Transport. Since December 2022, he had been with SkyDrive Inc., where he was responsible for preparing a customer support organization for eVTOL and coordinating with the aviation authority.

Toshi Matsuda

Toshi has over 15 years of aircraft leasing and financing experience. Prior to joining Airborne, Toshi held the role as a Vice President at the Development Bank of Japan (DBJ), where he helped its aviation practice grow to be one of the most significant sources of aviation financing in the region. During his time at DBJ, Toshi fostered a broad network of local and international investors over a full spectrum of aircraft financing transactions in Japan.

Yuya Kato
Corporate

Yuya Kato began his career at Daiwa Securities, where he was engaged in the planning, proposal and development of derivative-linked structured bonds. In addition to capital markets activities, he arranged trust-based asset-based lending (ABL) solutions and played a key role in introducing new financial schemes. Through these experiences, Yuya has developed strong hands-on expertise in structuring and executing complex financial products, combining derivatives, credit, and bespoke financing structures.
